PS:...i've noticed in Google's search results,
that some people are trying to...estimate this blog's value (?!),
and even worse,they try to do it via automated site report tools,heh...
Since they most probably haven't got the slightest idea about seo etc,
here's a couple of hints/advices to them...
1) There are absolutely no ads in this blog,thereby,there is no revenue obviously.
2) 99% of those automated site report tools can't evaluate sites hosted in blogspot.com,
and as such...they return all kinds of funny and ridiculous results... :-)
In contrast,Websiteoutlook (which works correctly in most of the cases),
simply reports "Not a Valid Domain" for every blogspot.com hosted site.
3)Last but not least,not everything in this world is valued/counted in...money.
But if you insist,oh well,i think i can help you,check my site's value below... :-)

ReplyDeleteThe site value thing is something I've seen for my site for years, and from multiple sources. As far as I can tell it's an automated program based on traffic and links. I don't think any individual is setting a value to your site. To me it's meaningless besides maybe a company's attempt to make money by having you buy into their traffic acceleration program, or something.

I've had people message me trying to "sponsor" my site, i.e. raise my site traffic. I think my part of the deal was posting a link to their company on my page somewhere. I wasn't particularly interested ;D

...i think that if Mutant Sounds didn't believe in sharity's ethos,
then they could have stopped way long ago,
say for example in early 2009...after all,
they had already posted more than 2500(!) albums/tapes for people to enjoy,
and they did that in less than 2 years...
Ie.i believe they're just being ironic as well about their "estimated blog value",
since the total of 2800 posts up to now,
represents a real fortune/treasure under any possible aspect that i can think of...
$19 for my blog. No advertising either. Works for me.
